The Fenix HP16R is a multifunctional headlamp for casual users on late night runs, to camping trips, all the way to seasoned mountaineers and explorers. The headlamp produces a max 1700 lumen when both the 1300 lumen spotlight and 400 lumen floodlight are activated. The primary spotlight covers all of your hardcore outdoor lighting needs. The secondary floodlight is a >75 high CRI neutral light for night photography, or enjoying nature. The tertiary red light is a must have for hunters, fishers, and emergency or auxiliary users.
The rear of the HP16R has a flat built-in battery pack that sits flush against the user. This design distributes the weight evenly between the front and rear of the headband allowing for comfortable extended wearing. The included 3000mAh battery pack can be fast charged via USB-C and can last up to 6 days on low mode. In a pinch the battery pack can be substituted for four AA batteries during emergencies.
The HP16R has two independent switches for easy operation. The general switch controls the primary light and the function switch cycles through the high CRI and red LED. To prevent accidental activation, the HP16R comes with an overhanging tab that covers both buttons and an electronic lockout function.
