I bought 2 of these to have extra batteries on hand for emergencies.  The little light with the kit is a nice bonus and was brighter than I expected.  You will need to buy a micro USB cable because the cables that come with the Nitecores flashlight are USB C cables and are NOT interchangeable for charging these batteries unless you remove the battery from the flashlight and swap in this spare battery, charge it then put the other battery back in.   I bought a 6' cable for $3, better than swapping the batteries around.  You will like the little light that comes with the kit.  I assume you have a Nitecore I series flashlight as they are the only ones to use an I battery.
