The next generation 21700 rechargeable battery from NITECORE, the NL2150DW has an amazing 5000mAh capacity. This powerful battery has improved performance, and superior energy density compared to previous 18650 batteries. Specifically designed for the R40 v2, the "DW" series batteries can work only with the NITECORE R40 v2 flashlight. An extra 21700 is a great back-up battery to have on hand, for those extra long patrols. The NL2150DW can only be charged via the mechanisms included with the R40 v2. Fortunately the NL2150DW can be charged directly via the USB-C slot on the R40 v2 or using the two charging docks included with the flashlight.
